Missionary Support |
As Mission Co-ordinator, Eamon works to raise funds to support SSCC missions overseas. Historically our Ireland England Delegation has been associated with the missions of the Sacred Hearts in Japan, Ecuador, Mozambique and the poor areas of Texas and the Bahamas. If you wish to make contact with Eamon or you have any questions on our missionary projects please feel free to email Eamon. eamonmoz(at)yahoo.com
HOW YOU CAN HELP: 1. The Holy Father is constantly reminding us that the Church is not an NGO, a non-govermental organisation, but rather a community of faith. So our first task in assisting the work of the missions is to pray, thanking God for the gift of faith and praying that we may be open to finding new ways of proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel. 2. If you have been gifted with personal resources that may assist the growth of the young churches overseas, the "Sacred Hearts Mission Fund" is always grateful for added assistance. 3. Perhaps you would consider remembering the "Sacred Hearts Mission Fund" in your Will. 4. Recently a generous man from Limerick donated his valuable life long Stamp Collection so that it could be sold and the money used to assist the missions. Perhaps you would consider donating a valuable personal resource or including such a resource in your will. 5. In recent years the people of one of the Northern Provinces in Mozambique have been suffering through violence, death and conflict. You can read the background at the link below and perhaps you could write to your politicians encouraging them to assist the government of Mozambique in finding a solution. If you would like to contribute financially to assist the displaced people of the Diocese of Pemba, please feel free to get in touch. Fr. Eamon will be happy to assist you in any way. You can write an e/mail to eamonmoz(at)yahoo.com or write to 27 Northbrook Road, Ranelagh, Dublin 6
