Ealing, West London

372 Uxbridge Road Ealing London W5 3LH

Situated in the West London suburb of Ealing is our Ealing Community House which was purchased in 1956. This house is a Congregational house of the Ireland England Province of the Sacred Hearts Community of brothers and priests. In past years the house was designated as a formation house, serving as both a novitiate and a residence for students attending Heythrop, Mill Hill and Allen Hall.  At present there are two members of the Congregation living in the house.

Frs Chris McEneny ss.cc. & Fergal Maguire ss.cc. both of whom have spent many years in parish ministry. Fergal is also chaplain to the migrants/asylum seekers detention centre near Heathrow Airport.

The house is also used to accommodate meetings of the core group of the SSCC Lay Associates or Secular Branch.  For many years now SS.CC members from other countries have come to Ealing to learn and study the English language or to engage in pastoral activities in the city. The house is also regularly used by Sisters and Brothers of the Congregation who come to visit London on business or for a holiday.
